The central fact in this debate is, therefore, if you like the first major public focus of what will be a burgeoning debate about the application of these new technologies to human dignity, the appealing character of this discussion is that public attention has been so readily focused on how do critical thinking into, this question, whether we are speaking about the said cover stories in the news magazines of the Scottish sheep, whether we are speaking about senior paper, Dr. Seed, the improbably named Dr.

I guess the last thing is, rabbi, if you’re talking about creating and using human life for the benefit of somebody else, under that philosophy I’d be interested in research what you thought of harvesting organs from death row inmates in China, which I think is morally the same issue, except it’s not innocent life. I guess after that maybe we can have QA. DR. ELSHTAIN: Of course Rabbi Tendler wants to respond to that. DR. ELSHTAIN: …How to identification in national system, leap in, and to keep the remarks brief because there’s a lot of stirring in the audience, so I suspect there are questions that we want to turn to very shortly.
